FrontCover_edited-3About Cindy

On July 31, 1966 at the tender age of nine, a stranger raped Cindy L. Herb while she worked for a local Dallas newspaper. Because of that trauma, and the reactions of shame and guilt by others, Cindy felt isolated and alone. She now, as a healed rape survivor, passionately advocates a way to overcome obstacles and understand adverse events that may have occurred in people’s lives.

Cindy writes and lectures as a result of her personal discoveries, in the hopes of inspiring others and to show that, despite adversity, there is always a way to overcome life’s tribulations along the path to finding true happiness and joy.

Cindy L. Herb’s book is unique in that it offers a different spin on spirituality—one that enhances western religious philosophies while offering an alternative way to look at healing. Exploring spiritual truth, this path to happiness embraces a direct, intuitive knowledge of God while approaching the validation of information in a scientific method. It is Cindy’s determination that God is everywhere and we are all parts of the whole. Therefore, no being or thought can ever be separate from the whole.

Upon reading her book or listening to her, you may come to realize that guilt, shame and anger are a function of the mind, not the spirit, and simple adjustments in thinking can dissolve these emotions. Tragic events occur not because God is punishing us, but rather as an individual challenge to allow the spirit of God to flourish in each of us.

You will come away with a plan on how to end pain, and a deep understanding that you are never alone.

Additional Information

Cindy L. Herb became a writer and speaker as a result of journaling her painful childhood experiences. She decided to publish a book when she realized others could benefit from reading her life’s tale of suffering and healing. She became a speaker as an additional way to inspire others with her true-life story of healing from emotional pain and trauma.

Cindy L. Herb is no longer haunted or burdened with guilt and shame by the events of her life. Indirectly, this has helped her work a more constructive path. Cindy wishes that anyone who reads her book or hears her lecture will see that despite suffering severe trauma in her life, she now is very happy and joyful. Virtually anyone can benefit from her message.

Maria Shriver, First Lady of the State of California, award winning American journalist and member of the Kennedy family writes, “I know you will inspire others through your personal story of overcoming pain and suffering. I applaud you for having the courage and strength to share your extraordinary story.”

Cindy L. Herb is also an engaging and inspirational speaker. Some of the speaker topics she offers are:

Cindy L. Herb also believes in the power of utilizing other spiritual modalities, such as numerology and astrology. She is specifically interested in numerology. Since childhood, Cindy has had an inner connection to numbers. She discovered numerology is a tradition bound by spiritual evidence—a relationship between numbers and living things. Despite what others may think, Cindy has observed that numbers have spiritual meaning, providing much about a person’s destiny, or life goals, and personality. Through numerology, the constructive spirit of light can speak to you. It does not make sense for a malevolent being to be providing these insights. Why would an evil presence want to help humanity?

Cindy offers numerology reports within this site that can be very useful to you in providing personal insight and aid in your spiritual ascension. You can find additional information on her numerology services at http://www.cherbchronicles.com/spiritual-services/.

  Quick Synopsis of Cindy’s Book

Awakening the Spirit
The Open Wide Like a Floozy Chronicles

Streams of personal healing fill the pages of author Cindy L. Herb’s autobiographical Awakening the Spirit: The Open Wide Like a Floozy Chronicles. Scarred by a childhood rife with the piercing pain of rape and molestation along with the unrelenting grief of neglect, Cindy emerged into adulthood burdened with a damaged and fragmented soul. But refusing to carry the weight of others’ sins, she set out to uncover the bitter roots of her suffering and, in the end, found a simple process that permits true healing. The hope of a resurrected life bursts forth from her inspirational tale—encouragement to anyone bearing the wounds of a painful past and an uncertain future.

After meeting a shaman in 2007, Cindy began writing a cathartic journal of traumatic life experiences, especially those events centered on a childhood rape, which occurred while working as a newspaper carrier for a major cosmopolitan newspaper in Dallas. What evolved from this journey to healing was the book Awakening the Spirit: The Open Wide Like a Floozy Chronicles. Cindy has plans for a lecture series and additional books in the near future.

To Your Happiness and Joy!
